Duley’s exhibitions always have food and a shared table playing a central role. Over the course of his New York exhibition there will be a series of curated dinners in the style of the French salons of the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Gatherings hosted to spark thoughtful conversation about culture, science, art, literature, and politics – a reimagining of salons from the era was called the “age of conversation.”

The dinners, shared on a long table, will be an opportunity to reflect and discuss the exhibition. Duley wants to create a place of calm, during a time of global turmoil. A space where we can discuss ideas and find ways to effect real world impact.

With thanks to our sponsors:

Hosted by JVP Development, Gamma Real Estate and Kensington in the Penthouse 77 at Sutton Tower — the tallest residential building on Manhattan’s East side waterfront — guests will sit on a shared table, surrounded by stunning panoramic view of New York. The evenings will include a personal tour of the exhibition, a three-course meal with accompanying drinks and wine. Duley will tell stories, start discussions and Dr Sofia Yatsyuk, a Ukrainian-British concert violinist, will be musician in residence for the dinners.

The ticket price includes a tour of the exhibition, artist’s talk, three course dinner with all drinks included and a performance by Sofia Yatsyuk. For group or corporate booking feel free to contact us directly at rsvp@gilesduley.com.
